them to be. This is especially handy after copying a bunch of data
from a CD-ROM to a hard disk. On a CD-ROM, all files are marked as
Read-Only. Consequently, after copying them to a hard disk, changing
everything to Read-Write can be a rather tedious affair if you have to
do it by hand.
